You are in Dresden and you want to pay homage to the great book Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut.
If your are like me, you search the web and find some old blog posts with not so very clear directions. I was a bit confused but found the place.
Most people will just assume Google knows everything and will search Google Maps and they will be correct.
When you get there you will see that where Slaughterhouse 5 once was, it’s now a part of MESSE-DRESDEN, a convention center. When it’s closed, you can ask the person at the gate to let you in and take a look around.
You will see a plaque near the door at the right corner of the building.
According to the website, inside the is a memorial wall for the book and the history of the place during the bombing of Dresden in WWII.
